Book Report: Good Habits, Bad Habits

A lot of our posts this month have focused on how to build new habits and change your behavior. If this is something you would like to learn more about, I recommend Wendy Wood’s Good Habits, Bad Habits: The Science of Making Positive Changes That Stick. Dr. Wood is a psychology professor at University of Southern California and has spent decades studying how habits form. With science-driven data and her own personal experiences, Wood explains what makes habits stick – good or bad – and how we can use that knowledge to our advantage. It’s a great read!

Don’t have time to read the book? Check out this NPR podcast featuring Wendy Wood. She discusses her book and highlights several useful skills and techniques you can try right away!
