What To Expect
Person Centered Therapy
You are in charge of your therapy. You will work with our therapist to decide how therapy will proceed and what activities you try at home. Each therapy session will start by asking you what you want to work on that day. Our therapist will never force you to talk about or try things you do not feel comfortable with.
Strengths Based Solutions
We do not think of you as broken or malfunctioning. Everyone is a combination of strengths and weaknesses. As we focus on areas of your life you would like to improve, we will balance it out by identifying and utilizing the strengths and skills you already possess.
Collaborative Counseling
We are the expert on therapy and you are the expert on yourself. Throughout the therapy process, we will collaborate together to determine the best path forward. This approach creates a treatment experience tailored to your specific needs, goals, and personality.
Sessions are typically 55 minutes
